Café Palette has come back, and come back in a rocking new avatar in May 2016 !! It has always been the place to be for coffee lovers and those with an artful eye seeking a comfortable and rejuvenating ambiance to soak into !! Coffee and Art combined together has been Café Palette's offering, with Italian, Continental, American and other snacks and beverages including sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, tacos, nachos, rice, wraps/rolls, waffles, iced teas, teas, coffees, milkshakes, etc. !!
In the new avatar, Café Palette comes back with a lot more !! The new café is housed in a beautiful and large, 3-storey Moroccan look home !! As you move inside, the ground floor houses all the retail sections - an artisan bakery, an ice cream boutique, a pop-up store that would see sales of apparels/goodies/artefacts, and finally an exhibition hall for artists and designers to sell their works of arts (paintings, sketches, etc.) and clothes !!
And then you move upstairs - to the first floor - housing the main café with an eclectic design theme, drawing inspiration from arty, colourful European cultures !! This floor has unpartitioned but also separate rooms and niches, each having its own artful design !!
And as you move towards the third floor - the terrace - you are welcomed by gazebos and areas of open seating too !! This is the place to enjoy barbeques in colder months of Monsoon and Winter, but is an all-year round place for keeping al-fresco parties !!
On the main floor of the café - the first floor - you are set to enjoy delicious and very artistic looking foods - even simple, everyday dishes have been made very arty and colourful, obviously because you are in Café Palette !! Besides the interiors and furnishings, not only the crockery and glassware, but also the food is very colourful !! For instance, the burger buns are not White, they are either in Red or Green or Dark Brown / Mocha colour, using natural foods as colouring agents !! Or the pastas that are coloured, or the rice and the beverages in colours !!
You may be forced to think there is an explosion of colours here that may be very bothersome after a bit, but that's where lays the beauty - it is not at all displeasing or loud, and is rather very pleasing in terms of the colours chosen, the textures used, and the play with lights and artefacts !!
It is a must-try place !!
