Big Buzz Around August 5th, 2025?
20,000 CRPF Troops Rushed to Kashmir | High-Level Meetings in Delhi | Missile Tests Up North | Top-Level Resignations
Something big seems to be brewing behind the scenes in India, and it's got the nation on alert !! While mainstream headlines are still catching up, here’s the inside track on what’s setting off the chatter:
CRPF Mobilisation in Kashmir: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has given in-principle approval to raise 20 new battalions of CRPF, adding over 20,000 personnel specifically for deployment in Jammu and Kashmir !! This follows a proposal by the CRPF from October last year but has only now been approved and fast-tracked !! The sudden deployment is raising eyebrows !!
High-Profile Political Meetings: Back-to-back, high-stakes meetings in New Delhi have taken place:
-
PM Modi met President Droupadi Murmu late at night — unusual in protocol unless something major is brewing !!
-
J&K Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha had an unusually long 45-minute meeting with PM Modi shortly after !!
-
Sudden replacement of Ladakh’s LG added to the intrigue !!
-
HM Amit Shah met RM Rajnath Singh at his residence — not typical unless strategic discussions are involved !!
EAM S. Jaishankar recently met the Chinese President — a diplomatic warming that's very rare in recent times !!
Missile Tests & Security Drills:
-
The Army tested Agni & Prithvi missiles in northern India, deviating from the usual southern testing grounds !!
-
Mock drills have been seen around Delhi in preparation for Independence Day, indicating high alert status !!
UP & Nepal Border Activity:
-
CM Yogi Adityanath met HM Amit Shah twice in recent days !!
-
With U.P. bordering Nepal and recent action against madrasas, speculation is that internal and border security are being tightened !!
Political & Media Chatter:
-
Veteran journalist Jitendra Bahadur Singh shared that even opposition MPs are on edge, sensing a major announcement !!
-
The Vice President of India has resigned, officially citing health reasons, but the timing adds to speculation !!
Why August Matters: Historically, August has been a month of big moves — from the Quit India Movement to the abrogation of Article 370 and Bhoomi Poojan of the reconstruction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya in 2020 !! Notably, August 5th has previously been used by the Modi government to announce/perform landmark decisions !!
Given the timing, troop movements, high-alert drills, top-level resignations, and secret meetings — many believe something big is coming on or around August 5th !!

Why Do We Crave Fried Foods?
Nutritionists explain the link between the drop in temperatures and our bodies' speeding need for high calorie- high carb diet. Whenever there is a drop in the temperature, our bodily temperature drops as well, hence we automatically want foods that will keep us warm and cozy. This is likely due to our body's need for more calories coupled with the changes in brain chemistry brought about by the change in seasons and alterations in the body's biological clock.
Lastly, we all have emotional ties attached with the rainy season. It's when old bitter-sweet memories resurrect and there is a sudden surge of emotions. Some of us may experience mild mood swings during colder, less sun-filled rainy days due to more moderate changes in brain chemistry. Experts explain how fried, fatty foods have an impact on your mood as well. Many fatty foods contain tryptophan which is used by the brain to produce serotonin- the feel-good-happy hormone.
So, what are you waiting for? Doesn't all this give enough legitimate reasons to satisfy our fried food cravings? Coil around on your couch; sip on a steaming cup of coffee and get into the monsoon mood. Celebrate the season of splash with round, fluffy kachoris, steaming aloo samosas, chaats and other crunchy delights.
