Jaivik Setu - Farmers' Market

The farmers would sell their products in the Farmers' Market held here, ONLY ON SUNDAYS, generally from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (or until the stocks last) !! In the warmer Summer months, Jaivik Setu has ensured that the environment in the market remains conducive, by putting large industrial coolers, mist fans, and fabric for shade !! In the wet days of the Monsoons too, Jaivik Setu has gone the extra mile in putting up temporary tents and moving some sections inside the permanent building, only so that Indoreans can continue to benefit !! And lastly, in the Winter months, fireplaces are lit do that Jaivik Setu continues to spread the warmth !!

Besides the farmers' produce, the Jaivik Setu Farmers' Market also has great organic vegetarian food sold by housewives and others, making for a perfect Sunday Brunch !! The delicacies sold here change every Sunday, and include seasonal specialities and regular dishes such as stuffed paraanthaas, chillas, pohaa, kanji vadaa, appam with stew, falafel sandwich, grilled sandwiches, pesto wrap, methi muthiya, sarson da saag & make di roti, chholaa-kulchaa, thaalipeeth, dabeli, waffles with home-made ice cream, flavoured baked yoghurt, salads, cakes, chocolate mousse, chaach (buttermilk), vegetable & fruit juices including ganne ka rus (sugarcane juice), hibiscus lemonade, organic tea, and a lot of other Gujarati, Maharashtrian, Malwi (regional), and Rajasthani specialities !! The dishes are undoubtedly most healthy, and are delicious too !! Most of the desserts are by Mind Over Batter !!

Although the Farmers' Market is open only on Sundays, the Jaivik Setu store selling dry organic produce such as cereals (Indian and imported), pohaa, pulses, spices, tea, honey, jaggery, etc. and other eco-friendly products such as Earthenware bottles & cookware (as seen in the images), Copper bottles & tumblers, fabrics, soaps, shampoos, and other personal hygiene products, floor & other cleaning liquids, candles, LED lamps, solar-powered devices, electric mosquito trappers, etc. and even books on organic farming and related topics, is open on all days from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM !! 

Speciality products such as Apple Cider Vinegar, Tulsi Ark (concentrate), Ginger Ark (concentrate), are also sold here !! Natural, home-made, organic products from very reputed and genuine manufacturers from various parts of the country are stocked at Jaivik Setu, only after verifying their credentials !! 

And to add a bit more to the rocking shopping experience, Jaivik Setu has added the chic designer store PIPAL in the same premises !! It is a designer store that keeps Earth-friendly and chic stuff including clothes, footwear, bags, table decoration items, cutlery, Copper water bottles, and others !!

The coronavirus covid_19 pandemic that engulfed the entire world in the year 2020 was another reminder to everyone for healthier living with eating less chemicals and harmful substances in commercial foods, and the need to adopt organic (chemical-free) food !! Jaivik Setu was quick to offer more convenience to the citizens, as it opened its second outlet during the pandemic, this time very much within the city - the Jaivik Setu Store in Saket !!
